Nick Stamatakis helleniscope.com: This is a MUST-WATCH interview by someone who knows what is going on with Ukraine’s ecclesiastical and religious issues better than anyone and has spent the last few years collecting evidence… He speaks the truth, and he can prove it!!! All the proof of you, doubters of the crimes, is here! And I am sure he will be present in the Court for the Ukro-Nazis and other criminals to be established (similar to the Nurenberg Tribunal) in the months after the end of the War… Which is coming in the next few weeks and months… The time of justice is near… Here are his main points, but I strongly recommend watching the interview.
Repression in Ukraine: Amsterdam described Ukraine as “the single most repressive country” he has encountered, challenging the prevalent narrative of Ukraine as a democratic nation.
Persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC): He highlighted the Ukrainian government’s aggressive actions against the UOC, including raids on churches, arrests of clergy, and proposals to ban the church entirely. Despite the UOC severing ties with the Moscow Patriarchate in May 2022, the government continues to accuse it of Russian affiliations.
Suppression of Religious Freedom: Amsterdam expressed concern over the criminalization of legitimate religious debate in Ukraine, noting that clergy members face charges for allegedly “offending the religious feelings of Ukrainians.” He emphasized that such actions undermine fundamental human rights and freedoms.
Lack of International Response: He criticized the international community, particularly Western leaders and Christian organizations, for their silence on these issues. Amsterdam found it shocking that countries like the United States, known for strong Christian leadership, have not condemned the Ukrainian government’s interventions for political purposes.
